Lions, and tigers, and bears! Oh, my!

Welcome back followers and newcomers! Glad you are here!

I may have writer's block! It's been near three months since I have written! Bear with me as I begin this long awaited blog... My creative mind thought of Dorothy in the beloved Wizard of Oz! Upon greeting the scarecrow, she exclaimed the preceding title!

However yesterday, I could have shouted "Thunder, and lightning and hail! Oh my!"

The thunder and lightning preceding the hail was frightening! Just had to take a few pics! Out came my phone camera for pics to send to our son in California! In addition, Larry with his trusty iPad, focusing in on the approaching storm! A very exciting afternoon...

As the ground warms up, it will be time to check out our local nurseries and plant! I love red geraniums, white begonias and impatiens! Also, in years past, I have admired the plantings from Maria at Valley Nursery! I just carry my containers from last year, and she gladly fills them with colors I have chosen! As long as she knows either morning sun or afternoon, it's a nice Mother's Day gift to yourself:)

With more grand-babies on the horizon, Larry and I feel so blessed! They will join our three grandsons, three grand-cats and two grand-dogs! Oh my!
