Fall Blessings!
Welcome to my blog! Thank you subscribers and welcome newcomers!
My last blog was about the Diaper Cake, and Baby Blessing Shower! We so appreciated all our adult kids home with their spouses and all our grandchildren!
And we welcomed our 5th and second grand~daughter! All is well;) Grandpa Larry and I are so blessed! She made her first visit this month, and is just about ready to smile:) We
so look forward to many more visits!
It's almost Halloween! I just sent cards to all the grandchildren: those across the sea and here in the states! Complete with stickers! I miss all the Halloween's when our kids were
small, however just thankful we have grand~children to carry on the tradition!
Fall is a favorite time of year! "Turn over a new leaf!" This saying reminds me of new
beginnings, where is God tending and leading? If we listen to the quiet voice of God, HE will help us discern our gifts and bring them to fruition!
For me, Fall is a hunkering down time! A fire in the fireplace, a new book, puzzle or recipe!
And learning to not get too busy, to say no, and look forward to all God has in store!
My spiritual memoir is on hold for now, until a writing class comes up! My blog is light writing, and just enough to keep my gaze and finger in the pot!
We have taken down the last of summer, and will be planting bulbs to appear in Spring!
Stacked the patio chairs, moved the trusty picnic table up on the porch, removed the hanging baskets, and the old card table I always put out for knitting and games...
Our neighbors have moved back south, with another neighbor moving next year! Our neighborhood is changing and we are still here! We hope to as long as we can! It's nice to still have a piece of Bainbridge Island, where Larry and I met and raised our family!
Last, but certainly not least, we will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary in January;) More about special plans later... Feeling very thankful;)
In Christ,
Kitt
