Diaper Cake

Welcome to my blog! Thank you subscribers and welcome newcomers!

This summer has been the most fun, exciting, family oriented summer we've had in a long time! Larry and I are so blessed and grateful:)

All our grown adult kids came home! With their respective spouses and grandchildren! After near 10 years, we catered a Baby Blessing shower! Near 50 people came including 12 children! The occasion for our eldest son and his expectant wife!

My neighbor and Bestie, accompanied by her sister arrived here for three Sunday afternoons to prepare the diaper cake! Her idea! And what a hit! I used it as a centerpiece

on our dining room table. Before long it was surrounded by lovely gifts and cards for the

prospective parents!

We so enjoyed the gathering, and especially grateful to everyone who joined us! The catered food was delicious and we all helped! From the soy candles, the ultrasound pic, to the sunflowers, or adding touches to a special canvas for the babies room, it all was very nice!

When the party had ended and a few friends were left, we ordered pizza and stayed outside. The next day we celebrated our grandson Henry's third birthday. Since the backyard was already set with two tables, we ate outside. Uncle Patrick cooked steak

and wrapped corn on the barbeque! Baked potatoes and salad too! We sang to Henry

with his favorite: strawberry shortcake!

As we await our 5th grandchild, we are very excited and so thankful! Our family keeps growing! Until we meet again, God Bless You All!
