Welcome followers and newcomers! It is with gratitude and much appreciation to all of you taking the time to read this blog!
Happy Summer! From my view here, I can watch my flower baskets continue to thrive even in this heat! Creeping jenny, petunias, verbena and miniature daisies seem to thrive. As long as I use my water meter and prune accordingly!
I am very grateful to welcome five grandchildren by late August! This post is about my recent trip to meet our very first grand-daughter! It seems I have inherited the name Baba, then Grandma as they get older!
I am also thankful to my husband of near 50 years! He willingly holds the fort down as I love to travel, especially to visit our grandchildren! In his retirement, he loves to be home and relishes the time our four adult kids come back to the nest with their spouses and grands!
We are also very grateful for our home, finances, faith, love and health...
Now, on to my trip! I think this airport I travel to is a best kept secret! So convenient! With this being said, every time I travel there, there isn't a runway or gate. I am thankful I can take down my carry on and carry it or drag it behind me! Jazzercise and chair yoga are keeping my balance, bones and mindset strong!
Did I mention, our third grandson is now a big brother! He came along with our son to pick me up! This Baba brought gifts to share! Of course, and I was treated to sweets and a lovely prayer journal.
I also absolutely loved meeting our new grand-daughter! Her smile with one sweet dimple, stole my heart! Her parents gave me every opportunity to enjoy their family life! From her bath to their backyard and out and about the cute city they live in! I love this special time, and I appreciate taking a peek into their daily lives;)
In my own personal spiritual journey, I so enjoy knitting, reading, just being home! Larry and I have so much to be grateful for. May this summer bring you and yours unexpected
blessings and God Winks! Thank you again for following...
In Christ,
Kitt
