Digging Deeper into Fall...

Welcome! Please subscribe to my blogs! Just scroll down and add your name and email! Thank you so much!

Happy Fall, my very favorite time of year! The leaves are changing fast, our home is decorated with fall decor! Pumpkins, ghosts, plates, native american corn and

candles.

Let's dig deeper here spiritually speaking, asking the question; "What does fall mean to you?" If you follow me on IG@ kittkat124.wixsite.com/touchstones, I collect quotes! Just recently, this quote from @yoursoultoolbox; " Any activity done with love and presence is a spiritual practice." Further, this one @raisingkindbabies;

" Scriptures to Fill your Cup..." Psalm 23: 5-6, 2Corinthians 9: 8-11, Proverbs 11:25.

In this blog let's dissect these two quotes and their relevance to fall and spirituality. As a student @ SU, a professor handed out bookmarks with the word BE! Be present, be yourself, be kind, be attentive, be loving...As fall beckons us to capture the beauty of this season, let's remember to BE... We are all children of God; uniquely and wonderfully made in his image.

The second quote asks us to fill our cup with these three scriptures. The first describes God as a generous host preparing a feast, anointing the guests with oil, and therefore filling their cup with blessings! Fall is the beginning of hosting, whether its serving delicious breads or Thanksgiving. Invite a new friend, a widow or a neighbor in. Who doesn't enjoy a hot cup of tea with a friend?

The second scripture; God blesses you abundantly in giving you all you need, you will abound in every good work. This scripture speaks of gratitude and thanksgiving. For these two words, fall is the perfect season to add these to your lexicon!

The third and final scripture; A generous person will prosper; in refreshing others, you will be refreshed. Again, its all about graciousness and bringing out the best in others, refreshing their soul! Give a smile, a compliment, share a new book, a delicious recipe!

In this season of fall, let us BE generous with our time and talents. BE grateful of all we have. BE refreshed, as we refresh others. Blessings always...

In Christ,

Kitt
